Having a good diet is now recognized as the most important component when trying to lose weight. Not exercise like it was once believed for many decades. Unfortunately some people in the fitness industry still think exercise is the most important thing and give out false information.
Therefore, the first step in getting rid of love handles is to assess what you are putting into your mouth. Eating junk food, snacking between meals and excessive carbohydrates are all ingredients of a bad diet. Bad diets = excessive waist size. The best place to start is to keep a track of what you are eating, just for a week, to really see if what you are eating is right. Usually you will find that just a few tweaks here and there is all you need to start shifting some fat.
If you have allergies then some diets will not be OK for you. It really depends who you are and what you are trying to achieve. You might be super athletic anyway, but just have slight love handles, this means you will need to be stricter than most people.
The food groups your body needs to have in order for it to feel ’safe’ about it burning fat is protein, fats, salad and vegetables. Not any junk food such as, chocolate, crisps, sweets, rice, pasta and bread. These spike your blood sugar levels, causing insulin to be released and insulin then stored the sugar as fats. Not good if you are trying to lose fat.
Your body is built to survive, so whenever it is starved, lacks nutrients, does not get enough rest and does not get good whole foods it will try to keep the fat on your body for survival. If you supply the body with all the things it needs, then your body will no longer feel like it needs to store fat for survival and it will burn it quicker than normal. This is why it is important to get your diet spot on.
You cannot out train a bad diet, but you can out diet bad training.
